Viktor | Token Control | Deck Guide

Viktor is a Mind/Order token-control deck built around answering opposing threats while constantly replacing its own board. The Legend can spend 1 Energy and exhaust to create a Recruit, while Viktor, Leader creates another Recruit whenever one of your other non-Recruit units dies.

Early game: Establish expendable value pieces with Honest Broker, Noxian Emissary and Sprite Fountain. Honest Broker leaves Gold behind when it dies, an Empowered Noxian Emissary creates two Recruits through Deathknell, and Sprite Fountain immediately provides a ready Sprite before replacing it when the gear dies. Stupefy and Bellows Breath help contain early pressure while your board develops.

Mid game: Start converting disposable units into cards and removal. Shadow's Call makes one of your permanent units Temporary and draws two cards, letting you cash in a unit that was already useful while potentially triggering Viktor, Leader when it dies. Wages of Pain, Deadly Flourish, Cull the Weak and Hidden Blade give you several ways to remove important threats, while Eclipse can turn a difficult showdown by giving an enemy unit -4 Might.

Late game: Imperial Decree and Singularity give you the tools to dismantle larger boards, while Sprite Burst keeps producing bodies without forcing you to commit permanent units. Time Warp provides an additional turn once you have stabilized, giving your Recruit and Sprite pressure another opportunity to convert control into points. The goal is not to protect individual units, but to keep replacing them while the opponent steadily runs out of meaningful threats.
