Week 30

Jul 20–26, 2026

Fri24 JulJul 24, 2026

  • Release Vendetta Pre-Rift Sealed: Vendetta is now the default Pre-Rift set for 85-card pool generation, using one of nine published 15-card starter kits plus five simulated boosters; completed decks can start Vendetta Simulator games.

  • Pre-Rift Sealed can switch between Vendetta and Unleashed; changing sets or starting another pool asks for confirmation when the current pool or deck has content, and legacy seed-only links continue to restore Unleashed.

  • Pool Details now lists the modeled starter and booster composition, treatment-rate assumptions, and unpublished Vendetta booster alternate-rune hits that are not simulated; foil pool cards show a foil finish.

  • Sealed deck validation now lets a Champion introduce the third deck domain, rejects Rune-section entries that are not single-domain Rune cards, and accepts basic Runes from another set.

  • Best-of-three Sealed now treats repeated battlefield quantities as separate physical copies, allowing the same battlefield name in a later game when the deck contains another copy.

  • Simulator match logs now name the source zone when a Unit, Gear, or Spell is played from hand, the top of the deck, trash, banished, or a named battlefield.

  • Simulator card pings now remain visible longer, making board callouts easier to notice.

  • Deck Builder and Sealed card-detail controls now appear only on card hover or keyboard focus, keeping printed Might unobstructed.

  • Added signed variants for VEN-189–191 and VEN-194–197 with fallback art from their unsigned overnumber prints, and corrected the catalog names for Stargazer and Soulspinner.

  • The Rift Atlas website and Simulator footers now link to a shared Patch Notes archive that shows the newest update week and preceding week in full and keeps each older week on its own archive page.

Thu23 JulJul 23, 2026

  • Release Deck Builder and Sealed catalogs: Both workspaces now use the same section tabs, card frames, sort controls, contextual multi-select filters with result counts, and section-specific search and filter state.

  • Catalog bookmarks persist across Deck Builder and Sealed, support a Bookmarked only filter and paged shelf, and can add a card directly without opening its details.

  • Sealed now has the Deck Builder List and Full Art views, grouping and sorting controls, stacked or separate physical copies, and resizable desktop panes; view and deck-list preferences persist locally.

  • Deck Builder now permits Main Deck construction after choosing a Legend and before choosing a Champion; banned cards remain visible by default and show their ban status.

  • Deck Builder List and Full Art preferences persist, card details open without changing quantity, and newly added off-screen entries scroll into view without moving the catalog or page.

  • Deck Builder Full Art can stack duplicate prints or show each copy separately; left-click adds, right-click removes, and Shift-click opens card details.

  • Large Deck Builder catalogs now load incrementally and retain their loaded position when switching between Main Deck and Sideboard; the sort control collapses to an icon in a narrow deck pane.

  • Simulator sideboarding preserves both list scroll positions while cards move between Main Deck and Sideboard.

  • Cards search results now open an in-place card-detail dialog that preserves filters, scroll, and focus; browser Back and Forward close or reopen the dialog, while direct card URLs remain full pages.

  • Card details now separate rules and flavor text, and card-text searches no longer match flavor-only text or scrape placeholders.

  • Constructed validation now requires every concrete domain on Champion, Main Deck, Battlefield, Rune, and Sideboard cards to fit the chosen Legend; Unrestricted reports violations as warnings.

  • Constructed Main Decks now allow no more than three Signature cards total and one copy of each Unique card; Unrestricted reports violations as warnings.

  • Corrected Frostcoat Mother’s name and Helm of Suppression’s printed Empower cost from two Calm to four Calm.

  • Eligible owned cards in base or on a battlefield now expose an Empower action that can pay supported Energy and Power costs from floating resources, runes, Energy Conduits, seals, eligible Legend power, or Gold before adding the Empowered label.

  • Composite, non-resource, and unpayable Empower costs remain manual marker actions; automatic payment and the Empowered label are applied atomically and roll back together if invalid.

  • Eligible owned top-chain spells now expose a Flow toggle. The actionable top chain card shows quick Target plus hover guidance for Resolve, Approve, Banish, and Target; lower or unresolvable cards show none.

  • Main Deck controls now show left-click or D to draw, right-click to look at the top card, and Command/Control-right-click to burn the top card to trash.

  • Quick Match preserves the exact active search and cancellation across reconnects, reloads, and transient errors; a recovered completed search replays its assigned room instead of opening a second search.

  • Constructed Quick Match widens a Standard- or upcoming-set-specific search after 60 seconds, while Sealed remains event-specific.

  • Quick Match avoids the previous opponent for 30 seconds and then retries the same active search automatically, including after recovery.

  • Sealed now stores event and seed together in links, local selections, and saved drafts; the event selector shows Unleashed as active and Vendetta as unavailable while its starter lists are pending.

  • Legacy seed-only Sealed links migrate to Unleashed without changing their generated pool, and Saved Drafts can be filtered by event.

  • Sealed drafts are reconstructed from event and seed; saves reject duplicate, out-of-pool, or malformed rune selections while allowing incomplete progress. Starting play enforces deck legality and requires both players to use the same event.

  • Battlefield and mulligan setup cards now keep their own size instead of inheriting the in-game Card size setting.

  • Simulator membership recovery now restores the canonical player, spectator, and controlled Solo seats without allowing a late lookup to overwrite a newer join or seat switch.

  • Card drags now cancel cleanly when an off-board popover closes, Escape is pressed, or a card is dropped outside the board; Two-Sided Practice drags remain assigned to the card’s owning seat.

Wed22 JulJul 22, 2026

  • Deck Peek, Trash, and Banished popovers now keep Select or Selected controls visible during batch mode, outline selected cards, show the selected count, and list only valid Banish, Trash, or Recycle destinations.

Tue21 JulJul 21, 2026

  • Release Vendetta catalog completion: Added Kayle, Justified and Morgana, Vindictive showcase prints, Recruit (NX), six basic runes, and six Nexus Night alternate runes with published art; the new cards remain available in Cards and supported imports.

  • Unit-Gear cards now follow Unit movement and reveal rules, exhaust when revealed onto a battlefield, match both Unit and Gear filters, count in both deck-stat groups, and remain Main Deck cards.

  • Constructed best-of-three players can change their registered deck during game-one battlefield setup until they choose a battlefield; a change clears both players’ battlefield choices and restarts that setup.

  • Deck Builder hides the six redundant VEN-R01–R06 basic runes but keeps Origins and VEN-R01B–R06B Nexus Night rune prints selectable.

  • Corrected Patched Porobot to Unit Gear, VEN-030 from Rare to Common, and the missing “this turn” text on Gangplank Naval and Gangplank Betrayer.

  • Batch-moving cards from base or battlefields to trash now removes only target arrows attached to those cards.

Mon20 JulJul 20, 2026

  • Constructed sideboards now accept up to 10 cards.

  • Deck imports now accept decorated headings such as “~~Legend~~,” optional colons, “Mainboard,” reordered sections, and straight or curly escaped apostrophes; an unknown decorated heading remains blocking and cannot leak following cards into the prior section.

  • Game Settings now includes a persistent Sound effects slider from 0% to 100% in 5% steps; 0% suppresses playback.

Week 29

Jul 13–19, 2026

Sun19 JulJul 19, 2026

  • Game Settings now includes a persistent Card size slider from 70% to 130% in 5% steps for board cards, hand layout, hover previews, off-board popovers, and setup cards.

Sat18 JulJul 18, 2026

  • Constructed sideboarding now alphabetizes Main Deck and Sideboard on entry and preserves that order as repeated copies move or merge between sections.

Fri17 JulJul 17, 2026

  • Added 39 Vendetta records and card art, including Baccai Sandspinner, Decree of Unity, Riven, Shattered, and Shadow Temple, plus the Burn 3 rules icon, to complete the base-set catalog.

Thu16 JulJul 16, 2026

  • Added 23 Vendetta prints with card art, including Dragon Form, Kinkou Temple, Shen, Renekton, and Nasus.

  • Visible Legend effects can now be added to the chain with Command or Control-right-click, including the controlled opponent’s Legend in Two-Sided Practice; hidden Legends and cards in trash remain blocked.

  • Champion cards now use the standard right-click controls for trash, banish, and chain actions.

  • Auto Pay controls for hand and Champion cards remain disabled while payment resolves and re-enable when the batch completes; opening an off-board popover clears stale payment previews.

  • Board Toggles now includes Skip Draw, which skips only the automatic Main Deck draw—including the Sealed first-turn bonus—while rune channeling and hold scoring still resolve; manual draws remain available and the setting persists with the room.

  • Deck Builder and deck validation now allow any number of Spiderlings across constructed deck sections while other cards retain their normal copy limits.

  • Updated art for 33 Vendetta prints, including both Ambessa prints, and added the Empowered keyword to Tools of Empire and the showcase Mel, Defiant Soul.

Tue14 JulJul 14, 2026

  • Added Shift-Space as an alternate shortcut for switching sides in Two-Sided Practice.

  • Unrestricted Constructed and Sealed best-of-three now accept zero to three distinct real battlefield choices and fill missing slots with blank backs.

  • Used battlefield choices carry across games, and the sole remaining choice locks automatically in game three.

  • Chain spells can be dragged to trash or Shift-dragged to banish; emptied trash and banished popovers close and clear their stale open state.

  • Added 23 Vendetta prints with card art, including Kai’Sa, Ezreal, Lux, Kayle, Jayce, Kennen, and Viktor variants.

Mon13 JulJul 13, 2026

  • Release Rift Atlas homepage and navigation: Replaced the single-search landing page with card search plus Cards, Decks, Community, Play, and Sealed entry points; the global navigation and expandable search now adapt across desktop and mobile.

  • Advanced Search now groups card identity, play-profile, and catalog filters, shows live domain and tag choices with a query preview, and restores focus when nested menus close.

  • The Play page now presents Quick Match, Private Room, Solo Play, and Spectate, with motion previews for Rewind, Auto-pay, and Showdown assist.

  • Release Constructed room rules: Hosts can choose Standard or Unrestricted before play; Unrestricted turns size, copy, section, champion, and ban violations into warnings while still requiring known cards, a Main Deck, and battlefields.

  • Goldfish and Two-Sided Practice now use Unrestricted deck rules and best-of-one automatically.

  • Generic move and control actions can no longer target rune areas or transfer rune ownership; malformed actions are rejected without changing either rune pool.

  • Deck Library now has a collapsible Trending Community Decks shelf and Trending sort based on recent likes and first-time clones.

  • Added 12 Vendetta prints with card art, including Dragon Roost, Diana, Leona, Ambessa, Mel, Crumbling Sands, Renekton, and Protective Sands; portrait-oriented art is preferred when both orientations exist.
