Garen | Swarm Midrange | Deck Guide

Garen is a Body/Order swarm-midrange deck built around winning with numbers. Whenever you conquer with at least four units at that battlefield, the Legend draws two cards, rewarding you for concentrating a wide board into one successful attack.

Early game: Develop efficiently with Honest Broker and Trusty Ramhound while using Flurry of Blades, Cull the Weak and Hidden Blade to prevent the opponent from building an uncontested position. You want bodies to survive into the turns where your wider synergies come online.

Mid game: Start multiplying your board. First Mate readies another unit, Noxian Drummer creates a Recruit whenever it moves to a battlefield, and Vanguard Captain can add two Recruits when Legion is active. Confront makes units played afterward enter ready, turning a development turn into immediate battlefield pressure.

Late game: Garen, Commander gives your other units +1 Might at his battlefield, making a wide attack considerably harder to stop. Poppy, Paragon and Vi, Peacekeeper add ready or reactive pressure, while Imperial Decree can punish an opposing board that has become too difficult to fight normally. Assemble four bodies where possible, conquer, draw two and use those extra cards to keep the board full.
