Zed Endless Riches

This is a Fury/Chaos Zed deck that fills its trash early, then lands Endless Riches and plays its game out of the trash. Once Riches is down, almost every card you use gets banished, and every banish empowers Zed so he can keep looting.

• Legend: Zed, Master of Shadows
• Domains: Fury and Chaos
• Style: "Miracle"-style value engine; closer to a combo deck than midrange
• Core idea: trash the right cards, resolve Endless Riches, then turn every spell and dead unit into Zed activations

The Engine

The deck works because Endless Riches turns "goes to the trash" into "is banished", and Zed's Legend triggers on every banish.

Zed, Master of Shadows (Legend): "When you banish a card you own, empower me. Action Disempower me, Exhaust: Discard 1, then draw 1."

Endless Riches (Fury gear, 5 energy + 1 power): "When you play this, banish your hand and trash, then Burn 7. Skip your Draw Phase. You may play cards from your trash. If a card would go to your trash from anywhere other than your Main Deck, banish it instead."

What that means in play:

1. Playing Riches resets your resources. Your hand and trash are banished, and Zed empowers. Then 7 cards are burned from your Main Deck into the trash. Those 7 are your new "hand", playable from the trash.
2. Every card you use afterwards feeds Zed. A resolved spell, a dead unit, or a discarded card would go to the trash, so it's banished instead and Zed empowers.
3. Zed is your card draw. You skip every Draw Phase while Riches is on the board, so Zed's loot and other draw effects are how you find new cards.

Two limits to keep in mind:

• Empowered is a state, not a counter. A second banish while Zed is already empowered does nothing extra, so use Zed between banishes.
• Zed taps to activate, so he loots once per ready no matter how many times he re-empowers.

Game plan

Survive and fill the trash early, resolve Endless Riches mid-game, then out-grind the opponent from the trash.

Early game (before Riches)

• Hold battlefields with cheap units and use interaction to slow down aggressive starts.
• Get cards into the trash: discards from Traveling Merchant and Zed, and the Burn 3 from Death Mark. A fuller trash makes Rhasa the Sunderer cheaper.
• Keep Endless Riches safe in hand. Mulligan toward early plays and card flow, not toward Riches itself.

Mid game (landing Riches)

• Riches costs 5 energy and 1 power. Play it on a turn where you can use some of the 7 burned cards right away.
• Riches banishes your hand, so empty your hand first if you can. Every card left in hand is lost.

Late game (after Riches)

• Play from the trash, and alternate between banishing cards and activating Zed so no empower is wasted.
• You skip every Draw Phase, so count your remaining resources and use Zed's loot every turn he is ready.
• Death Mark's Shadow Clone can banish a unit from your trash when it attacks to get Assault 4. That also empowers Zed.
