Leaving the room, Return to lobby and Next Game no longer sometimes fail right after a game ends, which could leave both players stuck with a Previous game they could neither leave nor resume.
Hover and press-and-hold card previews now show available rules in your language when the displayed image uses another language, including English rules on Chinese prints.
All 167 Radiance base cards are now available, along with the True Damage Ekko showcase and three regional K'Sante promo prints. The six newly revealed base cards use their verified Chinese names, text and images.
Remember the Fallen now shows its printed Rare rarity.
Buttons in the Simulator now show the hand cursor on hover, so ones like History read as clickable.
Cards you move no longer jump back for a moment while the game renews your sign-in in the background or when the connection drops, a move made just before a dropped connection no longer shows twice for a moment after it reconnects, and moves you make during a reconnect are sent as soon as the connection is back.
In three- and four-player free-for-all and 2v2 games, dragging a card toward a battlefield it can't move to no longer shows a drop spot there.
Keyboard shortcuts no longer act on the board behind the Give control prompt or the Friends & messages panel, and Escape now closes the post-game feedback prompt when you haven't typed a comment.
On phones, the floating energy and power − and + buttons and the token + button are easier to tap, and the play menu opened from a banish link stays beside its card when you rotate the screen.
On phones, the Trash, Main Deck and Rune Deck counts now sit on the top edge of their cards and the Banished count on the bottom edge of the Trash, so the cards stay visible, and the rune count moves into the corner of the rune row so your runes use the full row.
On larger screens, Game history in the lobby now sits next to Customize and stays available as an icon when the header shrinks while you scroll. On tablets, the lobby's Cards link and search stay beside the site name, and the shorter line under the lobby and Customization titles only shows on wide screens.
When a page fails to open, the error screen now offers Back to Lobby, and the sign-in and sign-up pages link back to the lobby too. Leaving the sign-in page from a spectate link no longer sends you straight back to sign-in.
Advanced Search lists standalone sets. Origins includes Proving Grounds and Arcane prints, Secret Garden counts under Unleashed, and Nexus Night prints count under their original sets.
Card size is remembered on this device between visits. A size specified in a link takes precedence.
Dragging a card out of Trash, Banished or Deck Peek and not placing it, by pressing Escape or letting go where it can't go, now brings the pile back as it was, with the same scroll position and selected cards.
Changelog
Week 41
Oct 5–11, 2026
The Export wallpaper preview is now sharp on high-resolution screens: it renders at the size it is shown instead of a small image stretched to fit, so card names and text are readable before you download.
After your opponent concedes or leaves, you can keep playing on the final board: draw, look at your deck, use the Chain, and press End Turn to take your next turn, even if they left during their own turn. Changing your score afterwards no longer undoes the win.
On tablets and phones in landscape, the side controls are grouped into joined bars and no longer overlap the board action buttons, even in short windows. The bottom toolbar on upright phones uses the same joined bars, and the Actions and Toggles buttons now show their names on touch screens. Ink Seals now glow softly inside each ink ring instead of covering it.
On tablets and phones in landscape, the Chain shrinks to its top card and action and docks above End Turn or over the opponent's score track instead of covering the battlefield. Tap the card to see the whole Chain.
On touch screens, Showdown controls now sit where they cover the least of the board instead of over the units in the contested battlefield, and the multiplayer Showdown prompt is more compact.
End Turn and End Beginning Phase are now a frosted glass pane, and with a mouse, hovering End Turn shows its Space shortcut. With an extra turn queued, Cancel extra turn sits above End Turn and no longer covers it when its label wraps.
Added the Korean-exclusive Dynasty Ahri alternate artwork (OGN-303A) to the catalog and print picker, plus the Radiance card Burn Away. Strigian Oracle, Armored Tusker, Protector's Shield, Riven, The Exile and Seraphine, Inspiring now show their English names, rules and card images, Protector's Shield now gives Tank, and Spirit of the Forge now shows its Rare rarity.
On October 23, when Radiance releases and becomes a Standard set, Quick Match closes the separate Radiance queue and decks with Radiance cards play in Standard.
Best-of-1 Sealed games, including 2v2, no longer have a sideboarding step before the Mulligan, following the tournament rules that take effect on October 16.
In 2v2, your teammate's battlefields count toward your team's final point only during your team's own turns, as the Radiance rules update clarifies.
Neeko's Additional Legends are now hidden from opponents and spectators, as the Radiance rules allow: they see a Legend only once Neeko adds it to your legend area. Your 2v2 teammate still sees them.
Cards on the board are sharper, most of all at 125% and 150% display scaling: tilted cards in your hand, units on a battlefield during a Showdown, battlefields, the Chain and the opponent's Legend and Champion no longer go soft, and every card loads artwork matched to the size it is drawn at, including with the card size setting.
On custom playmats, the Floating counters' backing is lighter and fades with Artwork visibility, and the counters now sit level with the foot of your Rune Deck, clear of the hand reveal button.
Card moves, draws and emotes animate more smoothly and use less of your computer, the Match Log only draws the entries in view, and opening the keyboard on a phone no longer slows the board.
Your draws now fly from the deck the moment you click it and turn face up in your hand once the server confirms them, instead of waiting for the reply before moving.
The opponent's card plays and Chain additions now make a quieter card sound.
Card previews show the card right away and sharpen once the large image has loaded, and your deck's artwork loads while battlefields are picked, so the Mulligan no longer waits for it.
Games start sooner. Joining a started room takes one fewer round trip to the server, private lobbies load the board while players take their seats, and for Next Game, BO3 games and Rematch the finished board stays on screen until the new one is ready instead of a loading screen.
Leave now says "Concede and leave" whenever leaving concedes the game or match, including during BO3 setup between games. When the opponent leaves or forfeits, the result names the winner, fits its content and no longer sits under the phone controls. A failed initiative roll is retried automatically, and room errors no longer show decklist line numbers.
BO3 winner confirmation now has Keep playing, so either player can withdraw a Next Game request opened by mistake and both boards unlock again.
The opponent's reconnecting notice now sits over their hand instead of covering open panels and their Energy and Power, phone rune counts are no longer hidden behind the runes, and French and Korean labels fit their buttons in the game controls and lobby.
Quick Match parties are steadier: a friend who just accepted counts as joining until they arrive, so the leader can't start a solo search in between; a join refused by a brief server error retries on its own; and a match found just as the party starts searching is kept. 2v2 tables now also form behind a long queue of players with the same deck.
Jarvan IV, Royal Heir and its Chinese print now count toward the same three-copy limit and show once among champion choices.
French and Korean Match Logs now use the right grammar for translated card names, such as "de Phénix immortel", and Chinese logs no longer add a space after battlefield names.
Auto Pay now also uses Honeyfruit's Level 6 ability at 6+ XP, paying one energy and one power with a single Honeyfruit.
On the Decks page, Chinese, Korean and Japanese input no longer picks a legend while you are still typing, and the legend sheet closes when a wider window shows the legend sidebar instead of blocking the page.
Added 21 Radiance prints, including Remember the Fallen, Spirit of the Forge, Bloodscent Swarm, both Seraphine, Inspiring prints, a Riven legend and six Summoner Skirmish promos. More Radiance cards now have English names and artwork, and sharper official renders replace previews, including Scrutinizing Scope. Forbidden Technique, Elnuk Herd, Last Caress and Neeko show Riot’s updated rules; Neeko decks can choose up to three Additional Legends.
Release Multiplayer Quick Match: Quick Match now also finds 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1 and 2v2 tables. Your table, BO1/BO3 and card pool sit in one summary you can change, and after 90 seconds of searching you decide whether to widen to other card pools or any multiplayer table instead of the search widening on its own. French and Korean players can also queue for Origins-only matches.
Release French and Korean: French and Korean are now available on the website and play simulator, including translated card text and Korean Origins artwork, with English fallbacks.
Party: At a 1v1v1, 1v1v1v1 or 2v2 Quick Match table, invite online friends to queue with you: one friend for 2v2 and 1v1v1, up to two for 1v1v1v1. Friends accept or decline from the invitation or right in their chat with you, and the party is seated at the same table, as one team in 2v2. The party leader picks the table and starts the search, everyone can still change decks until then, and the party stays together between matches.
Errata: In games, cards with official errata show their current rules under the hover preview, or over the printed rules when you hold a card on a touch screen. Cards that still show English art show their French, Korean or Chinese rules there in those languages.
Badges: Players can select a New Player badge for their first two weeks after registration and one games-played badge that automatically upgrades through milestones up to 10,000 completed multiplayer games.
Board lines: Legend and Signature Legend members can equip matching board lines, with score rails and battlefield Might totals staying clear and usable on desktop and phone.
Returning to the top of the lobby, customization, and artist pages no longer makes the content jump while the header expands.
Matches ride out brief connection drops more smoothly. A lost connection reconnects right away, and for the first two seconds the board stays playable with no reconnecting notices on either side; moves made meanwhile are sent once the connection is back. The game also refreshes your sign-in earlier and keeps retrying in the background instead of disconnecting, and matches left open in a background tab reconnect less often.
Added 21 prints, including Hush, Demon Shade, Gutter Guardian and the Jarvan IV, Royal Heir showcase, Mordekaiser, Twice Slain, Ziggs, Explosive and Orianna, Exquisite with their alternate arts, six Chinese-only Radiance cards and Riven, The Exile's Chinese showcase print. Secret Garden alternate-art prints of Lillia, Bashful Bloom and Ivern, Green Father are now available, and their English prints have clearer PROMO badges. Sixteen Radiance prints use clearer official renders, and in Chinese 19 more Radiance prints and the Kennen, Heart of the Tempest and Mel, Newly Awakened alternate prints show their official names and rules.
Set links now show alternate prints. Non-Chinese catalogs and print choices show the English OGN Arcane versions; legacy Chinese ARC versions remain available in Chinese.
The site header now fits one row from 1024 px wide: search comes first with quick-search help inside the field, followed by Cards, Decks, Events, Sealed and Play, with Sets and Random in the menu and Sign in beside Sign up. On phones the menu scrolls instead of cutting off sections, and sticky card and deck controls stay visible beneath the header when scrolling.
The Play page now follows the site's light and dark themes, describes each way to play as it works in the lobby, and lists deck import, Sealed, friends, customization, phone and tablet play and the four site languages.
When Orianna turns a Deploy gear on a battlefield into a unit, a showdown now starts there, as it does when a unit moves in.
The first time your Main Phase starts with Orianna and a gear she can choose, a tip points you to her Animate Gear cog. On touch screens, it shows how to reach Animate Gear by holding Orianna.
Auto Pay now exhausts a ready Honeyfruit for one power of any domain, after matching Seals and before Gold. Its Level 6 energy is still paid by hand.
Battlefields now show the print chosen in your deck, such as the Showcase Packed Amphitheater, on the board, on the Chain and when picking battlefields, instead of always the standard print.
Banish links from a card in a trash or Main Deck now show on that pile in front of the Champion, so the Champion slot no longer covers them. A link from a card you can't see shows on its owner's Main Deck without revealing the card.
Convergence badge labels and descriptions show the event number, placement, and date formatted for your selected language.
When reconnecting to a room keeps failing, the loading screen, lobby and match now offer Retry instead of waiting indefinitely, while reconnecting continues in the background. A room join that goes unanswered, or a match that starts while sign-in is refreshing, now reconnects on its own instead of getting stuck.
Extra turns now start with a Time Warp animation and sound on the active player's side of the board. The animation respects reduced motion.
Counters on attached equipment now sit on its exposed edge, and unit counters stay clear of them in the base.
13 more revealed Radiance prints can be viewed and played, including both Riven, Deserter prints, Parallel Convergence, Skystrike Squadron and The Waters' Wage. Ten existing prints now use sharper official renders, including Ki Burst, Demacian Illuminators, both Ekko, Revolutionary prints and both Riven, Broken Blade prints.
On phones and tablets, the Decks page's legend filter now sits beside the Community Decks heading and opens a searchable legend sheet. Picking a legend no longer shifts the page: its recent top 8s and most-played cards appear right above the community decks it filters, and Your decks stays unfiltered.
Buffs and card tags now appear on the card as soon as you add them instead of after the server replies, and adding the same tag twice in quick succession now raises its count instead of dropping the second one.
Dragging a card is smoother, and other players' hovers, pings, emotes and typing no longer redraw the whole board, so play stays smoother on slower devices.
Neeko and her copies now show their Legend button only when there are Legends to choose or view, so copying an opponent's Neeko no longer adds a button that opens an empty window.
Signing in no longer sets your player name from your account's username; matches use the name you choose.
10 more revealed Radiance prints can be viewed and played, including Gravity Field, Staunch Survivor, both Ekko, Revolutionary prints, The Empyrean, Ki Burst and Demacian Illuminators. Ki Burst and Demacian Illuminators have restored upright images with complete borders and footers. Ki Burst also has clean, even corner outlines. Five previously Chinese-only cards now have English names and prints. Fury Rune and Order Rune show English prints in English. More Radiance images have clearer artwork and text, including both Riven, Broken Blade prints, The Empyrean, The Ball, Staunch Survivor and signed showcase prints with their original signatures. Gravity Field and 24 Chinese Radiance prints also have cleaner edges.
Extra turns: Time Warp has an extra-turn action on the Chain, including touch controls. Queued turns appear on End Turn with a clock effect and can be canceled after the card leaves the Chain. The toggle shows when a turn is queued, and every player sees the queued turn on the Chain on any device.
When Baron Nashor creates the Baron Pit, a swirling void now opens beneath it, the battlefield rises out of it on Baron's roar with a burst of light, a shockwave and a thud through the board, replacing the purple haze. Cards on the other battlefields glide aside as the pit opens instead of jumping, and Baron Nashor lands in place.
Card actions in Deck Peek, Trash and Banished now use the full card width instead of narrow, cramped buttons. On touch, holding a Trash or Banished card shows the same action menu as other cards.
On shorter tablet and phone-landscape screens, the collapsed sidebar buttons shrink to fit, so the last ones no longer cover the Emote button.
Ink Seals score buttons respond to taps on phones again, and the disabled reconnect countdown no longer blocks controls beneath it.
Rune Prison now keeps its full card name and hover preview in the action history instead of replacing part of its name with a rune icon.
The board now redraws far fewer cards when you or another player acts, and turning cards and the cards shifting beside them no longer slow down the page, so play stays smoother on slower computers and tablets.
5 more revealed Radiance prints can be viewed and played, including Mysterious Chronomancer, The Ball, Drakehound Packmaster, and both Riven, Broken Blade prints.
The empty Chain area in the expanded sidebar is larger, making it easier to drag in the first card.
Copying a Neeko already in play no longer asks for an extra Legend. Neeko's choice stays with the player who played her after a control change, and her borrowed Legend lasts until that specific source leaves play. Tokens and card copies now disappear when returned to hand or deck.
Deflect labels now have adjustable counts on desktop and touch. Selecting Deflect again increases its count.
Five more Radiance cards are available with their official Chinese names and prints. Chinese-only card names now resolve in deck imports and event decklists.
The Fury, Chaos and Order Runes from Radiance can be viewed and played, and 31 more Radiance prints now show their official Chinese print.
Language controls now wait until the page is ready, so an early language selection is no longer ignored while the page loads.
On mobile, Deck Builder and Sealed cards have compact add, bookmark, and details actions. Saved cards open from a bookmark counter in the deck drawer, freeing catalog space. Card details also include a bookmark control.
Reconnecting to a room no longer gets stuck when a sign-in refresh overlaps a dropped connection.
