Ivern | Tribal Midrange | Deck Guide

Ivern is a Calm/Order tribal midrange deck built around Birds, Cats, Dogs and Poros. After you conquer or hold, the Legend can turn that battlefield into Brush, giving those four tribes and Ivern units +1 Might there.

Early game: Assemble your core tribes with Mutated Mouser, Stalwart Poro and Trusty Ramhound, giving you Cat, Poro and Dog while establishing a durable board. Defy, Discipline and Back Off protect that setup, while Zhonya's Hourglass can preserve an important piece.

Mid game: Frisky Hunter is the key tribal bridge, providing both a Cat and a Bird token from a single card. Azir, Sovereign can concentrate your token board into one battlefield, while Loyal Poro adds further Poro density. Once your four tags are represented, your dedicated payoffs become much more threatening.

Late game: Ivern, Friend to All turns the full Bird/Cat/Dog/Poro setup into additional scoring when he conquers or holds. Daisy! becomes cheaper as you assemble the four tribes and can disrupt defenders when fully enabled. Vilemaw, Blitzcrank, Impassive and Harnessed Dragon give you ways to break positions that your tribal board cannot simply overpower.
