Lee Sin is a Calm/Body buff-midrange deck built around creating and spending buffs efficiently. For 1 Energy, the Legend can buff a friendly unit, giving an unbuffed unit +1 Might. Rather than stacking buffs on one threat forever, the deck uses them to unlock stronger effects and additional actions.
Early game: Establish buffed units with Pit Rookie and Sea Monkey. Wizened Elder becomes a 5-Might threat while buffed, while Defy, Discipline and Punch First give you flexible ways to protect your board or swing important showdowns.
Mid game: Start converting buffs into tempo. Lee Sin, Centered gives your other buffed units +2 Might at his battlefield, dramatically increasing the value of your setup. Kraken Hunter can spend buffs as you play it to reduce its rune cost, while Wallop can spend one to ready a unit for free. First Mate provides another ready effect, creating turns where the same threat acts more than once.
Late game: Use your larger threats and reusable buffs to maintain pressure. Simian Ancestor readies whenever you buff it, turning the Legend into an extra action, while Irelia, Fervent gains Might whenever you choose or ready her. Heart of Dark Ice provides repeatable +3 Might for decisive combats. Preserve your key units with Zhonya's Hourglass and keep converting buffs into extra actions until the opponent can no longer match your tempo.
