Darius is a Fury/Order Legion midrange deck built around playing multiple cards each turn. Once you have already played a card, the Legend can exhaust at Reaction speed to generate 1 Energy, helping you extend your turn and activate the deck’s Legion payoffs.
Early game: Develop with Carrion Dredger, Inferna and Mischievous Marai while looking for cheap ways to start your sequences. Blood Rush and Cleave can serve as inexpensive first plays before committing a larger threat, while Seal of Unity helps smooth your rune requirements.
Mid game: Start exploiting Legion. Noxus Hopeful costs 2 less after another card has been played that turn, giving you a 4-Might unit for only 2 Energy. Vanguard Captain instead creates two Recruit tokens when its Legion condition is active, rapidly widening your board. Darius, Trifarian also rewards sequencing: your second card of the turn gives him +2 Might and readies him, allowing another attack or defensive action.
Late game: Maintain pressure with threats that are difficult to trade against cleanly. Kai'Sa, Survivor turns conquests into extra cards, while Ferrous Forerunner leaves two Mechs behind when it dies. Hidden Blade and Falling Star remove important defenders, and Sacrifice can convert an expendable Mighty unit into cards and additional rune development. Keep chaining efficient plays until the opponent can no longer answer both your board and your follow-up threats.
