Sett is a Body/Order buff-midrange deck built around making its units difficult to trade with cleanly. When a buffed unit would die, the Legend can spend that buff to heal, exhaust and recall it instead. Conquering readies Sett again, so successful attacks can restore your protection for the next fight.
Early game: Start placing buffs with Pit Rookie, which permanently buffs another unit when played. Showstopper can buff a unit at base and immediately move it to a battlefield, while Arena Bar adds buffs to exhausted units. Your goal is to establish threats that are already eligible for Sett’s protection before important combats begin.
Mid game: Turn those buffs into both resilience and combat pressure. Fiora, Victorious becomes Mighty at 5 Might, gaining Deflect, Ganking and Shield, while Sett, Brawler buffs himself when played or after conquering and can spend that buff for +4 Might during a decisive turn. Punch First and Call to Glory give you additional ways to overpower close fights, while First Mate creates extra actions by readying another unit.
Late game: Keep presenting threats that are expensive to remove permanently. Rengar, Trophy Hunter and Vi, Peacekeeper give you reactive battlefield presence, while B.F. Sword turns established units into much larger threats. Because conquering readies Sett, an aggressive turn can also restore your defensive safety net. Protect the units that matter, replay anything you save, and gradually force the opponent into unfavorable exchanges until your board becomes too difficult to contain.
